This is a BLU-1200-type slope screen manure separator, a medium-sized piece of equipment suitable for small and medium-sized pig farms.

Our customer owns a 5,000-head pig farm, and this equipment is installed near the pig manure concentration tank. A pig produces about 2.5 kilograms of pig manure every day, and the total amount of manure produced in a day is about 13 tons of weak pig manure.

After dewatering, dry pig manure with a water content of approximately 50% is obtained. Our customers stack the dried pig manure with a forklift and sprinkle it with bacteria. Turn the pile once on the 4th day, and once a day thereafter. The fermentation will be completed in about 10 to 15 days. Thereby producing organic fertilizer raw materials. This raw organic fertilizer can be put directly into the land, which is the most commonly used source pig manure treatment method.

Dehydrated pig manure has less odor and less stickiness. It can be used as base fertilizer and top dressing. Its fertilizer effect is long-lasting and its fertility is stable to supplement the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium elements in the soil. It enriches the organic matter in the soil and overcomes the shortcomings of saline-alkali soil caused by the frequent application of chemical fertilizers. It plays a role in improving the soil.

Make fish feed

Some customers use manure separators to dehydrate pig manure and then use scientific methods to make high-quality fish feed from the dried pig manure.

In northern China, using pig manure to make fish feed is also a better method. However, it isn’t very easy to make. If your neighbors have fish farmers, the two families can work together to raise fish.

Bacteria are also required for fermentation during production. Generally speaking, 300 kilograms of pig manure is sufficient for one acre of land. First, you need to use a slope screen manure separator to dehydrate the pig manure. Use high-quality separators to ensure efficient dehydration efficiency and quality.

After grinding the pig manure, mix it with 50% pig manure, 15% bean cake, 25% bran, 5% fish meal, and 5% salt. Then add an appropriate amount of water, mix and stir, and seal for a week. The fermentation is complete when the pig manure turns yellow-green, has no odor, and has a slightly sour taste.

Generally speaking, we can use this kind of feed to feed grass carp, carp, silver carp, bighead carp, etc. As for why pig manure cannot be fed directly to fish, the reason is that it contains various parasites. Mainly insect eggs and some toxic substances and bacteria, which may cause fish infection and death. Therefore, fermentation is beneficial to killing viruses and bacteria and avoiding economic losses.

Other uses

  • For pig-raising enterprises, the volume of the originally built biogas pool was too small, and the retention time of sewage in the pool was too short. This results in excessively high concentrations of sewage discharge. The solution is to use a slope screen manure separator to pre-treat sewage before it enters the pool.
  • This can effectively reduce the COD and BOD content of sewage and reduce the operating load of the biogas digester. This reduces sewage discharge and avoids the problem of difficulty in cleaning the pool after solid matter settles.
  • Use a slope screen manure separator to convert manure into fish feed or organic fertilizer. The separated sewage enters the biogas digester intermittently. This gives the anaerobic tank time to fully digest.
  • It can also make the active bacteria in the pool reproduce more vigorously. The content of gas methane will naturally increase, effectively solving the problem of abnormal operation of the biogas generator.
  • The treated sewage enters the biogas digester. It can effectively solve the encrustation phenomenon in the biogas pool and eliminate the need to clean up the biogas residue.
  • It can reduce the construction investment of biogas pools. For example: if a breeding or slaughterhouse discharges 100 tons of sewage every day, using a solid-liquid separator can reduce the investment in the construction of an anaerobic tank by 300 cubic meters.
  • The moisture content of the feces residue after dehydration and separation is between 40 and 50%. The slag output and moisture content can be adjusted and can be used for feeds with different ingredients (such as grass and concentrated feed). It is also easy to transport, and its solid particles are very suitable as raw materials for fish feed and organic fertilizer.
